The locality is on a beautiful beach, with striking sunrises. The pool was nice. The house was large and comfortable with an old-school feel to it. It was easy to cook in. Newell Beach is a small community with one take-away shop, but only 10 minutes drive from Mossman. We had a great time here. Pity we couldn’t swim on the beach…those damn crocs are everywhere here!

Wonderful time in the Bala Beach House

My extended family and I spent 8 wonderful days at the beach house. We couldn't have been happier with the place - ideally situated on a stunningly beautiful beach complete with resident pelican population. A wonderful place to stroll around and watch the sunrise. The house is very well - and tastefully - appointed and had everything we needed for cooking, grilling etc. Would go back in a heartbeat!

We are a three generation family who wanted to take a week's break in FNQ.We wanted to see the reef, the hinterland and the Daintree and Bala Beach House was perfectly positioned for this. The house was wonderful, suiting our needs and comfort completely. We had trouble getting the kids out of the pool!The sound of the ocean and walks on the beach just outside the gate were perfect.We all had an amazing time and Lisa was delightful.Many thanks.
