A clean, comfortable room and great, easy-going staff. I arrived very late after a long day getting lost walking the wall (after the kitchen closed and was shut) and the bartender was kind enough to put together a meal for me - very much appreciated when arriving in the dark partially covered in mud The beer they brew on site was also excellent.

Lovely pub and staying area next to it. We booked here as it’s a dog friendly place and enjoyed our stay. The team at the pub were brilliant, they were shutting the kitchen early as it was a quiet January Sunday (so totally understandable) but we managed to get an order in and the food was great.

The location is beautiful, close to some great trails if you're hiking. The pub itself is lovely as well. Food and drinks were good and affordable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating! Breakfast was great. They were a bit overwhelmed in the restaurant in the evening though - not sure if it was because there were more people than anticipated, or not enough staff, but food was very slow coming out and both nights we ate there there were errors in our order. They were very apologetic and tried to make things right. The rooms themselves are nice, but a bit dated at this point. They really could use fresh carpeting, new mattresses, fresh coat of paint. Overall I'd stay here again though - it was worth the price and nice enough
