Very Good

We really enjoyed our stay at the Gosforth Park Hotel. It was unplanned, as we had to reschedule due to issues with another location. But we able book a room easily with Gosforth. The staff were wonderful and accommodating during our 4 day stay. Prices are wonderful, the rooms are large and spacious, the gym and poor are fantastic. Could not recommend more.
Great Hotel with super friendly and efficient Staff … shout out to Andrew on Reception especially but honestly all the staff, be it those in the bar/restaurant, the spa/gym or those looking after the rooms, they were all absolutely fantastic.
Stayed here 4 nights, first impressions were good but slightly dated. Curtain was hanging off rail, which was promtly fixed. But hook was just took off other end so that end was hanging off!. The matteress was quite hard , but everyone likes their own bed. The room was clean and catered for our needs. We did use the hotel breakfast option , which was ok apart from the bacon which was very dried out, and tough to eat. We chose this hotel as it was close to family and it was convenient, and we would use it again.
We had stayed in this hotel many times when it was a Marriott, and once when changed to Britannia. Since our last visit the public areas have been redecorated and bedrooms too (but not new furniture). The hotel is convenient for us in Newcastle and has ample parking, although now has ANPR and you need ro gregister yout card. Leisure centre is now a chargeable extra.
We plan to return soon.
Good location for races
Good value for money
Bathroom renovated and cared for in 304
Some good drink offers at bar these may change of course
Curtains just need hooking properly at the top so no gaps for light to shine in
Easily sorted by site staff I’m sure

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Much better than previous Britannia I stayed in. Only downside was the water running very slow & not much coming out the shower
Felt safe and comfortable. A little dated decor wise, but very clean and had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The cafe/bar restaurant was good and the quorn burger was delicious! :)
My sec f trip to this hotel, I always get a great welcome and nothing is too much trouble. Love the location and grounds too. A swimming m and steam in the morning was great although the charge to guests staying at the hotel I thought was steep.
All though we had a reasonable stay, the room could have been cleaner and the broken fan removed. The hotel itself is very tired and in need of some renovations. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The grounds and gardens are rather neglected with quite a lot of rubbish around. I guess however that this is one of the better Britannia hotels to stay in
Awful experience. Drunk people banging on our hotel door at 2am supposedly looking for a friend, scared my wife and kids. Drunk blokes sat outside drinking, shouting, and swearing every night until the early hours. Feels like a hotel for blokes on the lash - definitely not a hotel to stay at with your family. Communal areas look nice but rooms are very shabby.
Very clean , lovely pool spa area.
Chats was excellent food
Andy at reception was amazing so funny and engaging put us a ease straight away.
Bed was massive!
Very quiet at night
Breakfast was lovely and hot
