Great choice but would benefit from a refurb

A lovely distinctive and characterful hotel. Great staff, superb location in the heart of the action. On the downside, the WiFi didn’t work in our room. And the shower door didn’t close so soaked the bathroom floor every time. Just needs a bit of a refresh I think.

The trip itself started well the hotel staff were friendly enough. However due to unforeseen circumstances I had to leave early and requested a second night refund due to this as well as the room not being ideal for stay. After this hotels.com requested the managers signature for a second night partial refund that they refused to cooperate with.

A good central hotel. Room was comfy and quiet bed was lovely. It would be nice to have Netflix available on the tv, and bottle water replenished every day. Breakfast was superb!
