Checked in fine, went to the room and one of the towels had a red/brown mark easily visible at eye level. Took the towels to reception to ask for a change while out. Didn’t happen. Had to go down again to chase it when we got back. On checkout was told manager would be in touch in a few days. Nearly a week on, haven’t heard from them. Also, shower door didn’t close properly and the TV screen turned green after a few minutes of watching a channel.

Breakfast was very good and staff made up for the several failings of the overall hotel. I had to look out side to check it was a Crown Plaza?. IT at check-in didn’t work, TV in room intermittently worked, our sons Nintendo switches couldn’t use the WiFi (have in all other hotels around world). Even though we had a don’t disturb on door staff member barged into the room without knocking and then didn’t apologise only making excuse she had been told we had checked out (even though we had another day/night stay). Having stayed at Crown Plazas around the world, we wouldn’t stay here again as really a lower level Holiday Inn and obviously poorly managed.
