It was a really cute stay for my birthday weekend The little touches from the pantry to the check in wine offered and the Madeline cakes hanging on the doors- and the room was so cute too. We had a wonderful stay at The Retreat. The room was spacious and comfortable and we appreciated the pantries with complementary drinks and snacks. Lovely location and hotel. Spa pretty busy so hard to use facilities or find somewhere to really relax. Restaurant is fine but vegetarian options very limited. A mini bar/fridge in room would be nice. My the time we went to have tea in the morning the milk on the countertop was warm and a bit spoilt.
