Clean and Functional

Nice check in girl. Clean. Functional. Overpriced. But its high season and its London. Deal with it. There are much worse hotels than this. A huge plus is that it is quiet. The TV is the size of a postage stamp.

4/5 Good

Very helpful check in however the initial room provided was over the hotel entrance, on a busy, noisy road with single glazed windows. This was changed to a room in a quieter location but not very clean. Breakfast was very good and parking appreciated.

I have a list of complaints !I am over 80yrs and was expected to climb into the bath to have a shower. There was no safety mat and no rail to hang on to.I asked to have a room with a walk-in shower and was asked to stay in the room for one more night and then I was moved into a room with a shower.Next - As I live in Australia my Son did the booking and he booked me in from June 4th-11th then decided that maybe a further 3days would be better but I was told by the Receptionist that I had to vacate my room on the 11th.She then said “no you are right you are booked in until the 14th but you will have to move to another room luckily there was another Receptionist on in the evening and she said I could stay in the same room.I had booked for a days outing and had to be up early and asked for a wake-up call for 6am.They forgot but luckily I woke early otherwise I would have lost £124 but the following morning I was awaken with a 6am call! I drink lemon tea so asked for some slices of lemon, which I was given but one Receptionist remarked “are you drinking in your room “.That remark was completely uncalled for.As it so happens I don’t drink. One more thing one of the pillow cases was torn so I reported it and it was changed. To be honest with you I class this hotel as a 2 star not a 4.It was all very stressful and I would never go there again.
