Welcome to our roomy and cozy stay, complete with a kitchenette and full bathroom. Our guest experience is located on a quiet hobby farm in the heart of Oregon wine country.
This western-style loft features hewn wood from floor to vaulted ceiling, creating a warm and rustic atmosphere. The space is comfortable with leather furniture, woven rugs, and cozy blankets.
KITCHENETTE:
Plates, mugs, silverware, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, hot plate, and a refrigerator are here.
Coffee and drinking water provided—our pure country well water tastes great straight from the tap!
SETTING:
You'll enjoy a quiet, secluded spot on our 10-acre farm in the beautiful Dundee Hills. A few farm animals and our two very friendly dogs are usually around to greet you. Feel free to walk the property and take in the scenic views.
Just steps from your room, through the ivy trellis, there's a peaceful seating area—perfect for sipping wine or reading a book as the sun sets over the vineyard.
The loft is located on the second level of a building immediately adjacent to the main house, separated by a breeze way. There is guest parking in the drive near the breeze-way entrance. A private entrance to the room through the breeze-way and up one flight of stairs is completely separate from the main house, so checking in is super easy...even if you arrive late at night.
It's easy to come and go with little to no interaction but we like to socialize with our guests when our paths cross and we are always available for contact by phone or text, and will get back with you as soon as possible.
This guesthouse is close to many popular Oregon destinations. It's only a 45 minute drive to Portland and the PDX airport. We are about 1.5 hours from Mount Hood and the beautiful Columbia River Gorge and just over an hour from the coast. George Fox University is about 7 minutes away in nearby Newberg, and Linfield College is 25 minutes away in McMinnville. Babica Hen Cafe, Red Hills Market, The Bistro, and a Bubble bar are minutes away in the Dundee Hills. Nationally acclaimed restaurants...The Painted Lady and Rosmarino Osteria Italiana are seven minutes away. The Jory (at the Allison) is about 10 miles east.
The location is rural, and requires a vehicle. There is no public transportation.
Although we try to be respectful of our guests, you may occasionally hear a few working farm noises, the bray of a donkey, or the bleating of calves or baby goats. Resident animals include a cows, two calves, four goats, a donkey, and two friendly dogs. All are accustomed to people. This is a perfect place to bring kids, and families are welcome to roam the property and check out the animals.
