Why does it take over an hour to check in my room? I arrived and given a card reader for a key. Tried it and it didn’t work. I was on the third floor and walked back to the front desk. Was given another card. Still didn’t work. After another attempt they sent a maintenance guy. The lock was broken. I asked for another room. They hesitated and sent me back up. They couldn’t fix it. They finally gave me another room. They should have given me another room after the first few tries. I’m over 70yo and had to carry luggage to and from. It was a horrible experience. I thought the service was poor.

We arrived at he hotel a couple hours early. The staff blocked our room, the room was read,but if we checked in we would have to pay a $25 early check in fee. The staff was not able to give us a believable explanation as to why we would have to pay the fee. We tried to enter the room assigned and someone was already in that room. We had to go all the way back to the lobby carrying our luggage to get assigned another room. The new room had a beep that went off every 60 seconds. The room phone was not working. We used our cell to notify the front desk of the incessant beep. No one came for 2 hours. We notified them again and then my husband finally tracked the source to the dishwasher. We started it up and then shut it down and the beep finally stopped. The AC running all night was very loud every time it came on. It was too stuffy to shut it off. There were only green bananas not ripe ones for fruit in the morning. Breakfast was ok. Staff for breakfast were great.

We had made a booking thru Expedia, when we arrived the hotel simply told us that THEY overbooked THEIR hotel hence there was no room available anymore for my colleagues and I, neither several others guests. Neither the staff nor the manager did provide any other comment or support or solution, absolutely nothing. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone under any circumstances. Their attitude is unacceptable regardless of the reason of the overbooking. Never again.
