Staff were first rate - from front desk to servers in the impressive lounge area. The gritty Lower East Side may not be to everyone's taste, but the hotel is a classy, quiet sanctuary in it.

Very nice hotel. Great locsrion, and our room was excellent. Some minor issues I hope they fix - only one (slow) elevator working, the gym not being much use for a good workout, check in was 40 mins late (though we got drink vouchers to compensate), and the room no fully stocked so we had to call down for some basic items, A little disappointing given the price point and reviews, but overall enjoyed the stay. And the room really was nice!
