The concierge kept trying to sell us on Marriot vouchers. They did not offer to help us with our experience, they were trying to sell me more. I felt hounded by staff upon entering and exiting hotel every time. That was annoying. The room and facilities were great

Overall loved the property. Staff was incredibly nice. The concierge can be overwhelming when you first walk through the door, but all it takes is to tell them you're not interested in a sales pitch and it's not a hassle. We didn't stay in Midtown so we could spend our vacation inside, so size of room didn't bother us a bit. It's small, but it's Manhattan. We could see the ESB from our room! Rooftop bar has amazing vibe and view of ESB, but drinks are crazy over-priced. Not worth going back for people staying there, IMO. Which is disappointing considering the rare view. Otherwise, no complaints.

I really enjoyed my stay here! Check in was a breeze. The employees were extremely nice and welcoming! Every time we walked in or out of the hotel/elevator we were always greeted with smiles. The security at the door was also very nice and welcoming! Our room was on the 11th floor, although we didn't have a city view, the room itself was very clean and accommodating. If we needed anything, we called the concierge, and it was brought to us very quickly. Our room was separate from the others on the floor, so we loved that a lot! There was very little noise outside our room and the windows. This location makes it easy for cleaning and privacy with the click of a button, so that was new and easy. No one ever bothered us if the privacy button was on. They had a welcome kit and a departure kit for us. They also had complimentary wine and cheese, but sadly, we were informed the night before we left. I guess the lady who checked us in forgot to mention that, but that would have been nice to have. The only thing I can say is they have a rooftop bar that was occasionally closed for private events, so we couldn't enjoy it as much as we wanted to. But it was okay because there are several rooftop bars throughout the city. It just would have been nice to come back to our hotel after hours of walking and go up to the rooftop and have a glass of wine and call it a night. Everything else was great, and I would definitely come back again and stay here!!

A very expensive hotel with 2 stars facilities. Room is tiny and outdated. The staffs are nice and helpful. The surrounding area is congested, noisy and dirty. It should be a 2-star hostel.

The room was nice, but there were renovations being done on a few rooms on the same floor. Checkout was also 11AM, yet the cleaner was knocking on our door at 9AM and woke my husband.

First time at this property, check in was commendable in efforts to assist everyone as timely as possible. Don’t go early to check-in, the hotel stays full until it’s time to depart. I expected personal touches during my stay, due to the concierge reaching out multiple times to ensure my stay would go well. That did not happen, they specifically didn’t even greet me. I got invited to a presentation for this type of facility but I was assigned a room that wasn’t renovated. Not a good marketing move. Best part about this property is the view of the Empire State Building from its covered rooftop. I’ll take the risk at another Marriott property, next time.
