My Husband drove 9 hours and was extremely tired. We tried to check in early however they said the rooms weren’t available however people kept checking out and the rooms weren’t clean for 5 hours. Not one room. But then later we got a room after asking over and over again and demanding a room.

After booking this trip, Travelocity informed that I would pay $79 at the hotel. I got there and they charged me $$159.42 and could not print me a receipt. No idea why I was charged that amount did not get any refund. The shower was dirty, the hotel didn’t even offer coffee, ice, or water. When you check in and you’re told that you have to pay double what you should be paying I mean, what are you going to do you’re in New York City.

It was not worth the money spent. The furniture is dusty and unkempt, there is dust and lint on the towels. The tile is cracked and old in the shower. There were chips in the ceiling and dark stains on the velvet furniture and floor. The bed sheets were dingy and stained with a brown mark. In the lobby, there was food on the floor it had not been swept. In addition, they charge $4 for water bottles and drinks.

Let’s call a spade a spade. It’s a well priced hotel a few blocks from grand central and the general quality of stay matches the dollar amount. People writing scathing reviews would need to be paying at least triple to have all their specific needs met. The bathroom was newer / clean, The sheets appeared to be clean, and it didn’t smell too musty. Upon arrival, the receptionist took like 25 seconds to acknowledge my existence because she was deeply engrossed in a TikTok reel, but I’m not one to care about that stuff. My biggest complaint is that in 2025 (almost 2026) they still have carpet… but again, I know what I was paying for. If you’re on a budget but want a convenient location in the city, you could absolutely do worse.

There was no heat, then the bathroom toilet flooded the room. Had to move rooms at 12:00 am and the new room had one working outlet and heat was also messed up.

The room was clean and the location was fantastic! The hotel wasn't in the best repair; many parts of the hotel were held together with packing tape and baling twine. The staff was either super friendly and helpful or looking at their phones; it was a mixed bag. The price was right, but it was definitely no frills. No in-room coffee or water, not even an overpriced mini-bar. You get what you pay for!

They make you pay $25 For service and they wont service the room. You need to come downstairs for toilet paper and ask for room cleaning - only great thing is location

the only thing saving this hotel is the location. my room was dirty and smelled overwhelmingly like sweat, the shower curtain was stained with big yellow splotches, and there was blood stains on the bathmat. when i checked in i already paid in full through expedia, and they made me pay a random $50 charge, saying it was “part of my payment” but was not informed until check in. they made me wait 15 minutes after 3pm check in because they struggled to find a clean room(?) when i got to the room it was freezing and didnt heat up properly until the next morning, it was below 30 out and the hotel lobby was the same temperature as outside. staff was rude. i didn’t see all the reviews until after i checked out, i guess compared to others i got lucky.
