It was a clean room, friendly staff and good location in Chinatown, surrounded by restaurants and walkable distances to nearby neighbourhoods. The only bad thing was the Aircon, that we couldn't stop it at all, it was constantly on, making the room freezing and noisy. We complained several times and the staff were very kind coming and switching off the thermostat but it was turning on itself after an hour or so.

A great soot for a two night stay in New York

Enjoyed large, comfortable room with terrace. Beautiful views in all directions. Friendly, helpful staff. Nearby Chinatown and Little Italy location provided lots of dining options! A stop at Leons Bagels is a must!

We were happy with our stay at Hotel Mulberry. The staff service was very good. The room was reasonable size. The beds and doonas comfortable. There is plenty of shelf space and mini kitchen bench, large fridge and crockery. Suitable to bring takeaway back to the room but not cook or reheat anything. Location oversees a community park. There is a self service laundromat three doors away. The negative for us is there a bit of noise transfer from adjacent rooms so light sleepers may need earplugs. Overall we think this a very good mid priced three star hotel that is convenient from which to explore lower Manhattan Island.

Had a great stay at the hotel. Convenient location, quiet and comfortable. Rooms and decor a little dated but not really an issue as was out most of the day and was just a base for sleeping. The hotel is very good and in a fun location….if you like Chinatown and the lower east side. It’s not your typical touristy area but the area is safe and vibrant. The hotel for the money is 5 stars!

Hotel Mulberry

The hotel was a good hotel. Nothing fancy, it is a place if you are just looking for a room and a bed and be in NY. I arrived at my room and the door had a lot of scratches on it which gave me concern it was not going to be clean, but my room was fine. I was on the 4th floor off the elevator and did not have any kind of view. The hotel is well located and easy to walk to through Chinatown and Little Italy with a lot of good restaurants in close proximity.
