The room was clean. The area is safe, but industrial and there are people working outside, dragging garbage cans and making noise, starting at 3 AM. I didn't sleep well as a result. There is nothing to walk to really, but it is very close to the 9th Ave subway stop. On Sunday morning at 8 AM, they ran out of coffee, which I think is pretty inexcuseable. And the breakfast attendant told me she was putting decaf in the regular coffee canister, without telling anyone else or putting a sign up. I did complain to the person at the front desk about this and he said "there's nothing I can do about that". So, probably there were lots of tired, headachey guests who were duped into drinking decaf that they though was regular coffee. Overall, not a great experience for us, but at least the room was clean.
