Only issue was that only one of the two elevators was running - then the single elevator went out too. We walked down 5 flights with all luggage. Otherwise we would definitely stay here again. Close to all train lines - walked to the Hudson and fantastic bakeries and food. Book confidently.

Tribeca is a happening area. Hotel is old and lots of little problems. Staff was very nice and courteous except for the front desk man who would not acknowledge my Hilton Honors membership. Somewhat noisy location but very close to nightlife etc.. problems included. Only one elevator was in service. A leaky faucet in sink. Shower curtains that did not reach to the tub. Room keys that did not work. Just lots of little stuff to remind me this is a mediocre property at best Come on Hilton lets fix up your properties. And for gods sake doesnt Hilton Honors value their members?

Pros: Bed comfortable. Room quiet. Price very good for the area: Cons: Stopper in sink broken and service never came to fix when they said they would - Imwe had to run after them to fix it. TV took 3 visits to fix cable reception. Thermostat on wall did not work so you had to fo to actual unit to manipulate it. Came back to room at 4:30 after being out all day and room had not been made up.

Stayed here for two weeks on a group work trip. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and convenient for our needs. Only downside was that the elevators were very slow (only one working at the time), so I ended up taking the stairs most days. On my last couple of nights, new guests checked in and the entire floor smelled strongly of cigarette smoke — it was clear the guests were actively smoking at the time, and the smell even lingered into my room. I called reception, and thankfully they addressed it quickly. Still, disappointing to come back to that after such a nice two-week stay. Note to future guests: please respect the hotel’s non-smoking policy so everyone can enjoy their stay! Great hotel by NYC standards

Fully satisfied with this hotel. Room is large by Manhattan standards with two separate beds, plenty of floor space and a full bathroom (full shower tub and sink/counter area). Location is great, the A/C/E subway is literally right outside the front door, and not right in the middle of too much action so it's actually pretty quiet at night. Canal Street is right there for food and amenities anytime. The front desk was helpful and they stowed our bags after we checked out since our flight didn't leave until later.
