I would give it 3.5. Nice,clean room. The lobby shares a space with the restaurant. It was completely empty and they told my kid that she had to leave because she wasn't allowed to eat her small acai bowl in the lobby/restaurant that was completely empty. They were extremely rude.

The room was very clean upon arrival. The hotel held bags after we checked out until we had to catch a flight. They allowed us to check in early. Great experience. Right next to Grand Central Terminal for the subway.

The hotel was nice and clean. I did not eat at the hotel, so I cannot comment on the food. The lobby desk area was a bit congested, but overall the stay was ok. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable.

Room was cleaned and restocked every day, that was great. Room was small but livable. Staff was friendly and efficient. The fridge didnt work very well, and I could not find an ice maker that worked. The lights had a large delay upon switching on...made for some confusion there! Overall, I'd stay again if need be.
