I do not like leaving negative reviews, I don't have time for such things but I guess if this helps a body- let me start with- that the staff was nice, we stayed for 4 days for a conference and they greet you and let you know who they are and want to be helpful, however the room was a joke, things are dirty and there are not enough toiletries, no coffee machine no simple things extra tp for example. the sheets and bed were clean, but water in the bathrooms runs brown for a time, yes out of the sink. Things are generally just dirty, walls and such baseboards etc. There are no dressers for your clothes we wound up living directly out of the suitcase. And for sure its terribly cramped accommodations so be aware.
The positives were that the bed was comfy for 4 days. And you are 2 blocks to the subway on either 42nd St. or the 7 crosstown. I also thought that there was not a single chair or dresser which I personally think is weird. No coffee maker or anything of that sort. our cost was over 300 a night yes that is on the cheaper side for TS area. Basic toiletries would have helped, cleaner room would have helped. A dresser or a place to store clothes would have helped. The HVAC basically does a either hot or cold thing, its temp controlled however if you dial it to 74 for example and its checking that it is 75 in the room it runs the ac. that is kinda minor. TLDR rooms sucks, location is solid, staff was nice.
