The room they gave me was not good. No window, dark. They took advantagr of my early checout (30min earlier) to assign, I guess, the wort room of the property. I was ther once before and the room I got was excellent

Nice place. Faulty locks!

The locking mechanism on the hotel door needs to function better. I would suggest replacing or upgrading the card-based locks.

Staff was very friendly. There are only 2 elevators for 30+ floors which was very problematic especially when one of the elevators wasn’t working. Having to walk up 25 floors is not fun at all.

Great Staff and location.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was in great walking distance from Times Square and Javitits Center. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed and more (full kitchen with full size fridge, microwave, and coffee maker).

A wonderful place to stay

This was a great value and a great hotel. I really appreciated the kitchenette as I didn't want to eat in expensive restaurants all the time. I was surprised to have housekeeping service every day, although it wasn't necessary. The room was spacious and I enjoyed the comfy recliner after a day of walking the streets of the city. The only disappointment was an elevator took a while to get to your floor. A maintenance team worked on it for a few days and had it fixed by the time I left. Kudos to the friendly and accommodating staff, who texted you daily to make sure that your stay was going smoothly. The muffins and cookies were a tasty bonus. I would absolutely book this hotel again.

My son lives in NYC and Candlewood is my favorite place to stay when visiting him. I love the kitchen area! I am able to make my own breakfast and heat up leftovers from restaurants. The room is spacious with three seating options and it is close to the Broadway theaters and to shopping and restaurants. Also, its proximity to Penn Station and Port Authority makes it convenient whether I am coming in from an airport or from the NJ Transit.They have a little store in the lobby where you can get food items and you can also borrow small kitchen appliances, books, games, etc. Overall, a great value.
