The house stays comfortable year-round with heating and AC. Meadow Creek is a trout stream nearby that allows excellent fishing. The New River is a world class fishery and known for its recreation. Guided Fishing trips and kayak rentals available. Winterplace is a short drive as well as destination towns like Fayetteville and Lewisburg. Hinton is a great little railroad town and home to Bluestone lake. Whether you’re unwinding indoors or planning your next adventure, this tremendous retreat offers a marvelous base. Trains do blow the horns here as there is a crossing. Most folks love watching the trains but they do run at night occasionally.
