There was no hot water the entire night. The fire alarm kept going off. The room was filthy and smelled heavily of smoke so much so the odor is still in my coat. If you’re going to stay here do NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN! It’s best for heavy smokers and men. The carpet was dirty the blanket had cigarette holes burned into them. There was food trash in the window. We had to sleep freezing cold with the window open to combat the smell.

I travel expensively and this is, without a doubt, the worst motel ever. After seeing their "best room", I requested a refund, which was not honored. Even so, I couldn't stay there and sought alternate accommodations. On a scale from of 1 to 5 stars, this property is a minus 3.

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Everything was dirty, the bed, the towels, the carpet. I had to ask for the remote for the TV and AC. The AC remote did not work, the front desk attendant stood on the bed to reach to turn on the AC.

It's basically a local 'paid' shelter. No smoking signs in lobby, but furniture had numerous burn stains and ashes. Heavily stained carpet. Dingy looking linen, but did smell freshly laundered. No security, i.e. chain on room door, which looked like it has previously been busted in. Simple door lock that like you'd find on a bathrook door. Exterior room door looked like it has been previously busted in. Although there are young mothers with children who evidently live there, it's not a place for the "faint hearted" who also might feel threatened by young men idling near-by. LOL BTW, it took mgr several hours to find a tv remote after searching other rooms, despite no vacancy other than one near lobby awaiting a guest who was paying $150 for the night. (So I was told. Didn't know if that was real or an attempted hustle for me to pay for an upgrade.)LMAO Anyway, I slept soundly with the only chair hooked up under the door knob.

They guy and his wife are pretty descent people and they have great customer service, very friendly. Rooms are okay and clean. There is everything around the hotel from Walgreens to McDonald's and downtown is a 10 minute walk.

I was greatly disappointed when arriving and seeing questionable people loitering around the front door. The dumpster at the rear of the parking area was overflowing greatly. The front desk clerk was very kind. Before he would accept our non-refundable payment he gave my husband the room key for him to check it out. My husband said the room was awful and the sheets were stained. Needless to say we left and found another room. This hotel being on Expedia's list is extremely disappointing. We were looking simply for a place to sleep after conducting some business in Waterbury. That's why the low rating was not alarming. We were not looking for amenities but simply a night's rest. I would never under any circumstances recommend this hotel.
