The hotel is in need of numerous great repairs. Upon arriving there is no heat in the lobby or hallways. While it was about 15 degrees outside the employees had to wear coats and hats. Then they charged my credit card twice and for the wrong amount. I had to go to the front in the morning and spent valuable time while on my vacation disputing charges. In the room there was plumbing backups in the sink and gurgling from the commode. The bathtub did not drain water and the toilet ran and did not flush. Luckily my husband is a stallion and came to the rescue to fix the flapper in the toilet tank. This was extremely inconvenient and when I reported it no one from maintenance came

There wasn't any heat in the long hallways to our room. I literally had to put my puffer jacket on to go down to the lobby to get coffee in the morning. The staff at the front desk had several space heaters on under the desk and they were still freezing. I was there for a week and during my entire stay it was never fixed. Only one of the 3 elevators worked..the internet was as slow as molassas and when I asked about a faster connection, I got a deer in headlight expression from the woman at the front desk. She called over the janitor, who was the IT guy, and he didn't know what I was talking about. I had to find the closest library miles away so I could meet a work deadline. The lobby and hallway rugs were old and dirty. And the pillows were like rocks. I had to got to Target to buy new ones or risk a serious neck injury. I am astonished that Marriott has lost its pride in this property, which was once considered the best hotel in the area. Its really a shame. Everyone I mentioned my disappointment to said that it had gone down hill years ago. I will say the staff tried to make lemonade from this withering lemon which feel from the tree years ago.

I chose this hotel because it stated there was a hot tub. The hot tub is permanently closed only leaving what appeared to be an unclean pool. Our mini fridge was broken, the door did not shut properly and the outlets didn’t work.

Got there they couldn’t find my reservation at first. Took them about 5 minutes to find it. The room was just ok. Thought for the money it would have been a lot nicer and updated. Took a shower and half way through the water stopped coming out of the shower head and had to try to finish by splashing water from the tub spout. The place had 4 elevators but 3 were out of order. The only good thing was it had a restaurant inside the hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel about ten times. The front entrance revolving door was broken last time. Two out of three elevators were out of order from Saturday through Wednesday. Trash bins were overflowing with garbage piled up around the base. The breakfast had lukewarm eggs, and the bacon was as hard as a rock. The bagels were even harder, and the English muffins were stale. I had to pull two long hairs out of my mouth from the eggs! The shower drain was clogged, and the water pressure dropped by at least 75% after five minutes. The furniture is all chipped, the wallpaper is peeling in the hallways, and the paint is peeling. It appears that not one dollar has been spent on maintenance. I will never stay there again, and neither should anyone. .

We were in town for a wedding and our room had no hot water and the drain in the shower did not work. Imagine our surprise to hear that NONE of the wedding guests had hot water or a drain. In chatting with other guests, we learned that this is common for this hotel and that we should have stayed elsewhere. We'll definitely remember this next time we are in town.
