Extremely clean hotel, updated facilities, directly across the street from a hospital. Parking is a bit steep but I understand why given the location. It’s a really nice hotel and I had a very nice stay. One suggestion would be for the hotel to have hot water available. The Keurigs in room don’t make plain hot water and every time I asked it seemed like a big inconvenience for the staff. Don’t understand why there wasn’t a simple carafe for people so we could help ourselves and avoid bothering the staff. I will say it also seemed like not enough people were working here. Everyone was lovely but there were too few people. Otherwise, a perfect experience.

Pros: Over three nights, all of the front desk staff was very friendly. The gym was well equipped and not at all crowded. The room was big and the chaise lounger/sofa was an added bonus space. The love music in the lobby during happy hour was a nice vibe (though very loud). Parking on the street is easy after 5PM and inexpensive. I didn't use the garage but it's right there so seems convenient. My room was VERY inexpensive compared to other hotels. Cons: the hallway on my floor had all kinds of crumbs on the floor that were vacuumed up until my third day. There were some crumbs under the foot of the platform bed in my room - I asked the front desk if they could have someone just sweep up my room and that never happened (even though they did come in on my the second day and make my bed). You can hear everything in the hallways from your room, and the room next to you so I would bring ear plugs. The first night someone was knocking and shouting at a door at 4:30AM trying to wake the person up. This lastest about five minutes, then started again about 10 min. later. Summary: you get what you pay for and I do think staffing at all hotels is a huge challenge so odds of having a totally clean room/hotel are slim.

For the most part this is a very nice hotel. However, the service at the bar and restaurant is horrible. Waited 15 minutes for a drink. Waited over 50 minutes for food, then find out that the bar tender forgot to submit my order. My partner waited 45 minutes for a salad.

When checking in we were told that there would not be any daily room service.. Day one... No body wash in the pumps in the shower. Day two our towels are gone. With no replacements. So I guess only half service for the room. Other issues... Deadbolt on door did not work. The sliding door that shuts off the bathroom was very very hard to close. The TV signal kept cutting out as well. Not the best stay... Not the worst day The room was nice otherwise. Spacious. Clean.

Being from the deep South we may have a different expectation on interaction with service companies but we felt like we were just another customer. Bathroom tub spout and water conteols didn't work, broken. Not what I expected from a high end hotel!

Staff very friendly Room very nice and clean - housekeeping efficient I like that they offered complimentary coffee in the mornings I think it was overpriced for the area, there are quite a few undesirable characters wandering around It was not as convenient to Yale as some other hotels
