Welcome to your Americana Getaway in New Braunfels! Enjoy a relaxing stay at Waterwheel Condominiums, located directly on the beautiful Guadalupe River and just minutes from everything that makes New Braunfels such a fun Texas getaway.

Our condo is a great home base for a family vacation, couples’ weekend, wedding, reunion, tubing trip or a few relaxing days on the river.

THE PROPERTY

Waterwheel sits on several acres of beautiful, pecan-shaded grounds along the Guadalupe River. Walk right out to the river, put in a tube from the property, go swimming or fishing, or grab a chair and relax beneath the trees.

Guests also have access to Waterwheel’s amenities, including:

* 4 hot tubs
* Direct Guadalupe River access
* Large grassy, tree-shaded areas for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors
* BBQ/picnic areas
* Convenient on-site parking

It’s a wonderful setting when you want to enjoy the river without having to pack everyone up and drive somewhere.

THE CONDO

This approximately 1,000 sq. ft., 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo is located on the second floor and comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests. An elevator is available for easy access.

Step out onto the private balcony overlooking Waterwheel’s beautiful pecan-shaded grounds — a perfect spot for morning coffee or relaxing after a day on the river.

Inside, you’ll find a comfortable living area and a fully stocked kitchen with cookware, dishes, utensils and everything you need to prepare anything from a quick breakfast to a family dinner.

With two bedrooms, two full bathrooms and plenty of space to relax, the condo is a great fit for families, couples, wedding guests or a New Braunfels getaway with friends.

AMAZING NEW BRAUNFELS LOCATION

One of our favorite things about Waterwheel is the location. You can enjoy the peaceful river setting while still being close to New Braunfels’ most popular attractions.

Schlitterbahn Waterpark is only about 5 blocks away, making it easy to spend the day at the park and come back to relax by the river.

Historic Gruene is also just a short drive away. Spend the afternoon shopping and eating, then catch some live music at legendary Gruene Hall — the oldest dance hall in Texas!

Downtown New Braunfels, restaurants, shopping, tubing outfitters and live music are all nearby.

TRAVELING WITH A BIGGER GROUP?

Need more room? We own a second 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo located directly below the Americana Getaway! When both condos are available, groups of up to 12 guests can stay together in the same building while still enjoying the comfort and privacy of two separate condos.

Our downstairs condo, Chardonnay Getaway, is perfect for extended families, wedding groups, reunions or friends traveling together. You’ll be just one floor apart, with your own kitchens, living spaces and bathrooms.

We know vacations are better when your four-legged family members can come too!

Dogs are welcome with host approval for a $65 pet fee per stay. Please let us know when booking if you’ll be bringing a dog and review our pet rules for additional details.

This unit was everything we needed to spend a couple nights in NB. It was so peaceful sitting on the balcony while our teen kids enjoyed river access and pool. This condo is conveniently located to many different places including downtown NB, Schlitterbahn, and Gruene. We will definitely be back!

The access to the lake was nice. We walked down and enjoyed the views. The check in process and owner response was 10/10. . We felt safe there. It was located in a great location and close to everything! Some of the fixtures need updated and the bathrooms are tiny. But overall, it’s what we expected for the price.

The place is great, and the hosts were really responsive. We love the river access, and the pools. The décor is really cool. There was ample space for everyone. The air mattress did have a leak. I don't know why the builder did not add a door from the living room to the balcony, poor planning. I would stay here again!

This is one of the three locations that my family rented for the weekend. It is a very nice and clean and very well decorated condo. We enjoyed see the musical theme of the condo. Well equipped and had everything we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer.

A wonderful Spring Break April 2023

Our stay was great! Very easy check-in process. Our hosts were super responsive and worked with us. It is waterfront property, but there is a beautiful grassy area between the condos and the river. The balcony area was awesome during our stay. There is an elevator as well as stairs. You feel like you are in a quiet secluded area far from civilization,. Truth is you are minutes from many sights in New Braunfels. I would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Great location

The condo is in a great location close to almost everything in New Braunfels. Keyless entry was nice, we loved the rock n roll theme and guitars. New washer and dryer a plus. We always check beds when we travel unfortunately we found hair on sheets. We had to wash them immediately, i think next time we may just bring our own sheets. Had to tighten the ceiling fan blades with a butter knife, they were making alot of noise. Beds are not comfortable at all, had a hard time sleeping especially the first night. Shower curtain not so clean. Other then that a clean condo. Pools and hot tubs were awesome, I'm sure thats what your paying for and the location of condo. Unfortunately we would not return here but we do Thank you for allowing us to stay.
