Family-friendly thatched cottage near the North Sea

Our thatched cottage is incredibly cozy! In the summer, the beautiful, spacious garden—complete with a ping-pong table, a trampoline, and its proximity to the North Sea—is a real draw. In winter, it’s the fireplace area.

On the first floor, there is a bedroom with a daybed for 1–2 people, the shower room, the kitchen (with a kitchen stove), and the living and dining room. Upstairs, accessible via a narrow staircase, are the two bedrooms, each sleeping two people.

The beautiful, fine-sand, expansive beach at St. Peter-Ording is a 30-minute drive away, and the nearest swimming spot is a 10-minute drive away in Wesselburenerkoog.
The family-friendly North Sea town of Büsum is also a 30-minute drive away.
Four bicycles and a hoverboard are available for excursions.

In the neighboring town of Wesselburen, there is an outdoor swimming pool, restaurants, bakeries, farm stands, and supermarkets. There is also an attractive bouldering gym in Hedwigenkoog, a 15-minute drive away.

Please note: The staircase is unsecured and therefore not suitable for small children! Due to the age of the thatched-roof cottage, the ceiling height on the first floor is 2 meters. The staircase leading up to the bedrooms is quite steep.
