Couldn't fault our stay. The staff were lovely and plenty of choice for both breakfast and dinner. Lovely area with lots of alternatives within walking distance for eating or drinking elsewhere. Ideal area for bird watching.

EXcellent,5 star hotel come pub and restaurant.Thoroughly clean throughout,excellent choice of real ales, excellent varied menu,ultra clean super king bedroom,overlooking the Dee marshes,and nice views over to Wales!Our favourite place to stay locally,just an hour travel from Merseyside area.a.Well be back soon!

Lovely stay at The Ship with my youngest son whilst going to Anfield and The Open. Only issue there was no hot water on Saturday morning when showering, sorted by the time showering on Sunday.

Great location and superb view from the open eating restaurant, food & drink options are excellent and the quality of food is excellent. A very clean hotel and very helpful cleaners. My only negative is the parking which is not fit for purpose if you are staying at the property as it's coinously full and come across a very rude member of staff when I was ill and unable to move my car. Due to this experience I would not stay here again, but would definitely recommend the restaurant.

We stayed in room 12. We didn’t have a view and the bathroom didn’t have a window which we could open. The windows in the main room could only open about an inch. This resulted in the room being very uncomfortable with heat as it was a very warm day/night.
