Take a 30 minute drive from your vacation home to visit Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, Rock House, Conkle’s Hollow, or Rock Bridge located in Hocking Hills State Park. No matter the season, you and your guests won’t be disappointed when visiting all the beauty Hocking Hills offers!

The Starbrick Bungalow is located in Nelsonville and 5 miles from Wayne National Forest. The State Park offers over thousands of acres to explore by hiking, off-highway vehicle riding, mountain biking, or horseback riding. When in town, guests will want to visit Nelsonville’s Historic Square Arts District, Stuart’s Opera House, Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, or the Nelsonville Music Festival that is held every year at Hocking College. 15 miles from the cabin, guests will run into Lake Hope State Park located in Zaleski State Forest. The Starbrick Bungalow was unfortunately not clean upon our arrival. To their credit, management came asap and cleaned and offered to refund the cleaning fee. Once we settled in we enjoyed the home.

Was confused about the listing. Said to be pet friendly but in the house rules it said no pets. Boarded our dog for the weekend but during check in it asked how many pets I would be bringing. Confused. Really enjoyed the place. Fit our needs perfectly clean

This property in nelsonville was so nice! The furnishings (beds, couch, etc.) where very comfortable and inviting. The decorations were very cute making you feel at home! We would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit this area!!

Perfect Getaway

We wanted to experience Hocking Hills and got the pleasure of also getting to know Nelsonville. It was a quick drive to lots of beautiful sites and hiking. The house was clean, well appointed, easy to travel to and from, and spacious for the 2 of us. Down side was being on the backside of the Main Street going through town, but the privacy fence blocked out some of the intrusion.

Hocking Hills Hiking

Location is great and hosts were easy to communicate with. You do have to check in at a local store and is clearly stated in the check in instructions. The house was hard to find at night because the front lights were not on. Very close to Athens and Hocking Hills with a lot to do around it.

Hocking Hills Trip

This rental is cozy & cute. Beds are comfortable. Spacious place for my daughter & I. The hot tub was great to use after hiking all day (although that cover needs replaced!) I liked having a kitchen so we could cook instead of eating out all week, although they didn’t have any pots and only salt & pepper for cooking. The place is about half hour to most trails, which I didn’t mind considering the price & how nice the place was. Parking was easy for just our 1 vehicle in the driveway.

Cute property

This cute litle house has been remodeled and is cute and cozy. Owner did a great job in decorating. Some minor things need to be taken care of like a toilet that needs to be reseated because it rocks, need to replace a light bulb in bathroom and the yard could use a little work as it can be muddy if it rains. The neighboorhood is par for the course I think in Nelsonville. Overall it was a great stay and would stay their again.

Cute house check-in not my favorite

House was very cute and clean. Only issue I found was check-in and out. If they would change locks to keypad locks it would eliminate the need to meet to pick up and return key. Did make it more difficult with arriving and departing out side of their normal hours.

The deck is in need of repairs painting lose boards splinters, nails coming out of the wood. No hot water at all for showers luke warm showers to cold by the end. No internet connection at all couldn't use our computers or phones. Neighborhood was kind of sketchy a fight outside on Thursday night someone came on the porch had to run them off think they were not used to someone being there
