The Abel Abode is one of the private rooms in Te Whare Rangi, offering a lockable space with a charming garden view that creates a peaceful ambiance. The room’s convenience is a standout feature, allowing guests to enjoy the first-floor kitchen, cozy living room, and veranda. A mini-fridge is provided in the room for added comfort, and the first-floor spaces are perfect for outdoor dining or simply relaxing in the serene surroundings of the veranda or garden area.

- Noise in the area - The waterfront road is busy & all properties within this area are subject to some road noise. However, the evenings are typically quiet with much less traffic.

- Car parking - Parking is on-street, nearby and free. We provide recommendations for parking in our arrival details. It is possible to use the driveway during arrival/departure to unload/load bags, but the driveway is steep and does not offer great visibility when exiting so a spotter and extra care is recommended when doing this.

- Check-in is available between 2pm and 8pm.
Later check-in may be possible if needed however an after hours charge will apply.

**Payment, Bond/Security Deposit and Cancellation**:

- A 30% deposit secures your stay with the balance due 3 weeks prior to your arrival (full payment will be required if booking within 3 weeks of arrival).

- Three weeks prior to your arrival (or immediately if booking within 3 weeks of arrival), you’ll need to provide a card authority for the bond/security deposit via our secure online check in process.

- Cancel anytime up until 3 weeks prior to arrival for any reason and you’ll pay no more than 30% of the booking total.

- Where compassionate circumstances for cancellation exist, we’ll be happy to look at further flexibility, usually in the form of postponement of your stay, or a credit towards future stay dates.

- A Rental Agreement document is provided as part of the booking process. Please refer to the agreement for full terms and conditions. :-)
