We had a wonderful stay at Villamar Resort! The room was spotless and the resort offered great value for money. The front desk staff were incredibly courteous and made us feel so welcome at check-in — knowledgeable and genuinely helpful. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, and the breakfast was simple but cute and just right to start the day. Highly recommend!

Great stay. A friendly and service oriented owner and staff. A cozy 11 unit hotel with a nice pool. It’s not luxury but it’s a clean and comfortable hotel. Very nice breakfast. Not huge variety b/c it’s a small hotel but the quality is fine. Short walk to the main beach in Nazaré. About a 40 minute walk over to north beach and the big wave surf museum in the old fort. A short drive to north beach if you don’t want to walk the stairs. The funicular was not running in September 2025 but that’s another option when it’s operational. It’s a short walk to a self service laundry and to a grocery store. The hotel has a small bar — as well as an area to sit and eat food you bring from outside. The hotel has a small parking lot for guests and there is free street parking on the street. There are a number of nice towns worth visiting not far from Nazaré such as Alcobaca, Batalha and Obidos. If you go to Obidos, it’s best to go early or late when it’s not packed with buses and tourists. It’s a delightful village but it’s terribly over touristed during the warmer months.

This property was lovely. It was immaculate and close to the beach and shops. The woman who greeted us and checked us in was super friendly and their was a staff member who had just started two months previously who was also very friendly. They allowed our group of seven to stay in the bar area to eat our take in pizza. The breakfast was also very good. I just wish I had asked the names of the staff for this review.

Hotel was decent and clean. The room was a little tight as we needed an extra bed but worked perfectly for our needs and just one night . If you have a rental car, be aware they have very limited spots on site which was not advertised to us at time of booking. They did help us secure a spot across the street . We didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. The only thing I will fault is the breakfast (included ), it honestly was sub par , very few choices and not great quality .

This place is well located!! Its on a quiet street with a 7 min walk to the beach. A staff member (lady) greeted us and was kind and helpful with information regarding the area and restaurants. She made a reservation same night at a restaurant and they gave us the best seat with the sunset view. The place is very clean and bright with a nice pool. Our room was spacious with a big bathroom. The place is eco friendly so you have to put your key card in to have the AC running, the room cooled down quickly though. The breakfast buffet was delicious with plenty of options (hot and cold). Parking is limited to 7 spots with a fee (5€/day) with a gate that closes at night, but there is also public parking right beside the hotel. We would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful, Clean, amazing friendly service!

This place was wonderful! Elenisa was super friendly as well as all the staff. The place was exceptionally clean and well taken care of and breakfast was terrific with buffet style including scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit, breads, meats, cheeses and cereals etc. Comfortable beds, great pool and bar area. Only a few minutes walk to the beach. Highly recommend staying here!

We had a great, spacious, clean room and bathroom on the first floor of this immaculate Villa. Service was outstanding. The pool and pool area were pristine with plenty of seating and the breakfast was very good. The location is perfect for walking to the beach, boardwalk and shopping and restaurants.
