If you are looking for peace and calm, a place to feel the true essence of the Mediterranean, stay at Golden Sand. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and the sea is at your feet. Definitely looking forward to coming back and staying longer. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at Golden Sand. The breakfast, beach, beach service, showers and check in were great. The beds however were like sleeping on concrete. I even put the chair pillows from outside under the sheet that did not give much relief.

After a bit of a rough start on the day of check in, we came to love Golden Sand. What we loved: 1) The drinks! Vasilis is an excellent bartender. We tried a variety of cocktails and every one was spot on. His golden zombie is the best! 2) Location - perfect spot across from the beach. There are beach loungers that are complimentary to guests, but know they are only the last two rows. The first two rows must be paid for. We traveled up and down Plaka and this end was quieter with more room. There are also restaurants within walking distance or many further accessible by car, scooter, or bus. 3) The staff - because the hotel is small, you really feel like you get to know everyone. 4) The size - it is smaller, which leads to a more personal experience. We didn't use the pool as it was a bit cold. The beach is our preference, so we are more familiar with it. We highly recommend Golden Sand!
