The host is very nice, honest and kind. We received welcome gift and in the last day, we were surprised to received a big basket for breakfast and we could not even finish in half!! The host baked the bread by herself and not super sweet as well! Love this place and hope to come back again!

Poor communication unfortunately for the check in process. The place is only a duplex not an apartment complex and not the type of place I expected to book on Expedia which makes me wonder what other listings are on Expedia. No check in instructions sent ahead of time. No one met us to check in even though we sent flight details and times. Taxis didn't want the fare and said they didn't know where it was located. The contact said we could walk to the apartment from the airport but upon arrival we found it's a busy road without a side walk and not safe in my opinion to cart your family and suitcases. Our phone data did not work well in this location so I couldn't message the host. It was a frustrating 30-45 min until key was found. There was wifi (thank goodness) and clean (good). But we didn't know how to get to town from this place (as we've never been to Naxos before) and it's isolated without really anything around. We saw someone who said there is a bus stop on the main road stopping each 30 min, but we found out you can't buy a ticket on the bus. You have to find a shop that sells bus tickets first and must use only Euros (not a card). Found WhatsApp # for host and were able to reach her finally. We mentioned the shower didn't drain & she asked me 2x about the hot water heater. I think a basic translation app can be used to translate that the shower doesn't drain properly (the shower overrflows into the main bathroom drain). We were very surprised with this experience.

We booked this property from Monday 29th June to Sunday 5th July, we arrived a little early thinking we could go to a restaurant or something and have a spot of lunch or something before we checked in, when we got there, there was nothing around it, no restaurant, supermarket nothing and as stated by the hotel it was not a 17 minute walk to the St George’s beach . It was red hot and I popped to the property next door to ask if we could kindly sit in their hotel bar as my mum is 77 yrs old. Fri there we had a birds eye view of the property. I contacted them as this was not what we expected and asked for our money back they refused and told me they would be there is 45 minutes, in the meantime contacted Expedia to express my concerns and asked for our money back. They agreed we should get is and was going to fight for it. Around 2pm I went to the property as we hadn’t seen anyone arrive knocked on doors went around the back shouted nothing (30 mins after they said they would be there). By 2.39 Expedia team told us to get a taxi back to get Lunch as we hadn’t wasted due to early ferry and they would fight to get our money. As we left we saw cleaners just starting. They refused a refund. Thursday 3 days before we were due to check out they sent me a check out email and asking for a review. So they took 6 nights and only had us checked in for 3 nights and still refusing to refund the 3 nights we paid for. Shocking experience. See photos I took from the outside. Run down and bad!

Lovely but far from town. I arrived and could not find it. It is not marked on the main road and no one was there. I had to go to another property and that owner called my owner for me. Not ideal
