I liked that it was close to the Nauvoo historical sites. I love old hotels that are not totally changed into new everything. We had a bit of a challenge in where we were expected to park... but guess we figured it out and parked up close where it seemed appropriate.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had such a wonderful stay at the Nauvoo Temple house stay. The home was clean, peaceful, comfortable, and perfect for our family. The location was amazing and made our temple visit so special and convenient. We truly felt the spirit of Nauvoo during our stay. Thank you for the warm hospitality and for making our trip such a memorable experience. We would absolutely love to stay here again! Just one thing Refrigerator wasn’t working and our drinks and food didn’t get cold.

The property is close to town, however the only close take out is a Casey's for pizza. The pizza is actually pretty. I was disappointed that we did not have a cooler to take the leftovers with us. We really enjoyed the hotel lobby and the mercantile on the way into town for souvenirs. Going to Old Nauvoo was wonderful.The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has done an outstanding job of tours through the homes and buildings and they really know their history. It is a great exprience and the Nauvoo Temple is so beautiful. It is the best place to visit.

We were able to find a parking place right in front of the hotel. There weren’t very many places to shop at, probably because it was not the right time of the year. We came during our school spring break. That was April 3 time. I just wish there were more places to eat around the area. Or maybe a breakfast being served downstairs in the barbecue place. It was a cute hotel.
