Comfortable stay and well located

Clean and modern with a large king sized bed. Well located downtown and friendly front desk staff. Only complaints would be that it takes a long time to get hot water in the shower, and the WiFi is only good during the day when most guests are out exploring the park (gets very bad from 5pm-10pm).

The staff was very helpful and friendly. Its an older hotel, but well maintained. Its just in a bad part of town. I stayed with my son, but if it was my wife, and daughter I would have moved to a hotel in a better area

We made this our Homebase for four nights and had a great experience. The place is well kept and clean, and was quiet. Staff were great, the free continental breakfast was basic but hit the spot and the location was within a 10 min walk of restaurants, a grocery store and other essentials. The rooms are light on amenities but most folks don't seem to spending much time in there beyond sleeping and showering, so it works. The free drink on the rooftop was a nice surprise. Would recommend if you're looking for an affordable and comfortable spot.

Great location

Stayed for 3 nights. Central location and so close.to Plaza de Armas and waterfront. Near many dining options. Check in was very friendly. Room was adequate with nice bathroom. This is a very basic hotel with no fridge, inroom safe, nor TV. There is no elevator but they helped us bring up our luggage. Breakfast was good and adequate.

Great stay

We’d highly recommmend Hotel Vendeval. We stayed here for one night before we began the O Trek in Torres del Paine, and one night after we finished the O Trek. They had a nice breakfast starting at 6am every day (included with your stay); they held onto two small pieces of baggage that we did not need while we were on the O Trek and had those bags waiting in our room the night we got back; and all of the front desk staff were kind and eager to help. Rooms were clean, spare but comfortable, and exactly what we needed before and after our trek. The only note I would make is — we walked to the bus station from the hotel and it it slightly further from the station than some other lodging options; we’d still stay here again if we came back!
