Not a bad place to stay but not a lot of choices for dining around the area unless you want to pay tourism prices. We found the food at the hotel to suffice just perfectly and it was very reasonable. We did eat at the local Fish Fry (Twin Brothers) and were later told locals get mostly fish with a side of rice and plantains whereas we had a small piece of scrap fish with a ton of rice…..that’s how tourists get treated which was disappointing.

When I first checked in they gave me a room with a view of the back of palm trees and I couldn’t see the water at all. Then the fridge beeped all night and no one ever answered the guest service line when I tried to call from the room. The next day they changed my room but the water in the shower took forever to get warm and the water pressure was very low. Other than that the stay was nice. The pool was great and beach was beautiful.

The room was very nice - we had a lovely walk out right to the upper deck pool and hot tub. The staff we engaged with were pleasant and helpful. Downsides were that the bar was not open on the upper deck, service at the Feeding Frenzy snack shack was slow (stood for quite a while and no one came to the window), and the beach was kind of small and grungy (didn’t stay long as it smelled vaguely like sewage - not entirely surprising given the location in the port).

The room was in good condition.Resort nice with water park, but staff not really friendly, not professional , and not really caring, food also not really good.😩
