The location was easy to find. Communication with the manager was excellent. She went above and beyondbto accomodate . The neithboorhood was quiet. You will need a car and knowbthe island to stay here.

Sweet and Sour

The owner was very helpful, accommodating, and effectively communicating to us. Very very helpful. But, the property is tooooooo far for non-locals. One needs a personal automobile. There is no easy access to public transportation AT ALL. The available public transportation passes through the ghetto area and a non-local cannot navigate such areas( mind u, I am not saying unsafe areas, because I did not experience anything that warrants the word unsafe). No public transportation at all. Taxies are very very expensive. Even if the area is safe, anyone traveling there for the first time may be alarmed- especially for the lack of house published addresses. That is concerning in case of an emergency one must remember which last four streets names when the nearest four streets have no names!!! The neighbors were good and welcoming and friendly. So, we did not enjoy our stay at all. The house was clean and appealing and well organized. I would ask the owner to make sure the cleaners clean all parts of the house every time, because we found an inch of dust under the bed and around plants- Remove the fake plant, the home is beautiful enough. Please offer a top bedsheet because there was none,I used a whole comforter- which I do not think it is washed with each client- if it is- it is too expensive to wash comforters- offer bedsheets please (top and bottom). The bed was very comfortable. AC- fine. I would stay there again as long as I rent a car. We almost died of hunger and thirst
