The listing lied about a pool and hut tub being on site. There were wristbands to a resort a 50 minute walk away where the host had wristbands granting pool access. Only were we told about the resort with pool access after we called Expedia to complain about the below shower and hot water issue.
The shower head fell off and would spout water at the top when running the shower. We tried threading the shower head back on but it wouldn’t catch. We then tried using the bathtub instead, but we ran out of hot water before the tub was even a few inches full.
There were several light switches, including ceiling lights with fans that would not turn on. The host said to use the floor lamps for lighting and floor fans. At dusk, you couldn’t see very well. The same was true for the outlets. Only a few power strips plugged into extension cords worked for plugging in our devices. I had to sit on the floor near the door to use my laptop. The WiFi was very spotty.
Counter had crumbs left from previous guests’ meals.
We didn’t enjoy staying there and left a few days before checkout. The host never responded to our requests for a partial refund.
