The airport’s shuttle to the inn was on time, and the ride was nice and smooth. The breakfast spread had a good variety of food that was quality and good.

The two Narita airport Toyoko Inn's were attached to each other and located in an out of the way area near Narita Terminal 3. The buildings look new. Check was all done via automation kiosks. The rooms feel quite new and up to date. Facilities are pretty good with washers and dryers in the lobby along with the requisite Japanese convenience store and self serve luggage storage. Their airport shuttles uses nice big buses. However service frequency to Terminal 3 is very limited. If you are flying in/out of T3 beware. T3 is where budget airlines are located. We walked from T3 to the hotel and it was a difficult walk although possible. Size-wise the rooms here are quite compact.If you have large suitcases or more than 2 roll aboard cases you will have trouble fitting them in the room. The beds were comfortable and room was quiet. The free breakfast is acceptable. The breakfast area is very large and can accommodate a lot of guests. If convenience store food choices are not adequate, consider taking the shuttle to T1/T2 where there are a lot of choices. If you missed the last return shuttle you are on your own. For a no frills overnight stay at Narita these two Toyoko Inns are quite serviceable.

The hotel itself was excellent. The room was small but I was solo and staying overnight only. There was a TV but mounted in a weird place so had to turn myself from the bed in order to watch. I was able to change the language to English and watched Netflix by signing into my account. The air con worked nicely. The shower would start with hot and then get cold and then get hot again. Not sure if that's how it was supposed to be to conserve water or get you to hurry up in the shower. So I had to wait until the water got hot again. The breakfast was good. Rice, mackarel, yakisoba, weiners, yogurt, egg omelette, salad, miso soup. I loved the airport shuttle so make sure you get the schedule in advance so you know what time and where they pick you up at the airport and drop you back for your flight. I think the best thing for me was the laundry. I had just finished one week vacation in Vietnam and did my laundry so when I get home, I don't have to do it. I would definitely stay here again. Excellent hotel!
