First and foremost, Luigi's welcoming hospitality was by far the BEST! He checked us in and also was there when we checked out. This experience was luxury at it's finest. The room was spotlessly clean. We had breakfast while we were there and Mario continued with the exceptional service. Our stay at the The Tre Fontane did not disappoint in the lleast. Truly a luxurious and memorable experience. Thank you for having us! Much love and respect to all we encountered at this resort.

It truely was luxurious. Of all the places we stayed in Italy this was the best. The Ocean views are amazing. The best part is the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. The driver was exceptional. The staff at the front and the manager make you feel like family. The bar tenders and food service people are so accommodating. The food was excellent. We walked to Vesuvius and took the local commuter Pompeii. We will come back and stay for longer. Make sure to explore the town and eat pizza and find the butcher with the best salami in the world.

It snowed on Vesuvius the day we went to Pompeii.

Pompeii is very close and easy to get to.

The reception staff were very kind and helpful, especially the waiter who managed breakfast, he was exceptionally courteous and attentive. We stayed for five nights, and the room was cleaned daily and kept in excellent condition. All other facilities were also very good.

Room said to have a side view of the ocean did not. Rooms at the end of the hall (2-3 on each side of hallway)could not. The two buildings on either side were both 4 stories high (Italian 3) and under construction. So no noise on the weekends but no views at any time. We paid $100+ per night to get an ocean facing room which was worth it. Staff was polite and professional Breakfast was excellent. Helpful to have a car there since the sites are more than a walk from the hotel.

Our stay at this hotel was the highlight of our trip. From the very moment we arrived, the hotel staff was super attentive and helpful. We worked with them a lot to book transportation to get around. Tip for anyone traveling there, work with the hotel to book a taxi or the shuttle to the resort, because they will provide the best rates. It's about 35 euros vs 60 if you go with the taxi's outside the train. That also applies if you travel in an out of Naples center - it's about 30 min by car. Pompeii is about 30 min by car, 50 min by train (which they have a shuttle to get to the station). The food at the resort was incredible all around! The room was clean, spacious, and we loved the view of the ocean. We would definitely recommend and stay again.

Once on the property, the property is beautiful. The area surrounding the property not so much. The waterfront suite we had was beautiful. They offered five channels of American TV and it was all news which is the last thing I want to watch to. Called for the staff the person rolled their eyes when they took us to the five channels of American news like there you go there’s a great TV lineup for you.

The hotel was lovely and very modern. However, the location of the hotel wasn't great and there wasn't a lot to do within the area. The area itself wasn't very nice and we found the local people rude. Hotel staff was slow depending which waiter/waitress that was serving at the time. Receptionist was very nice when we checked in but other staff wasn't very forthcoming in helping. We had to travel using public transport which was hit/miss and slow. We preferred to be located in sorrento which is more nicer and more to do. Breakfast at the hotel was 12 euros per person, it was an American breakfast, it was OK, but not a lot of choice. I don't think its good value for money but there wasn't much else around the area. Overall stay was OK but we wouldn't recommend it due to the location of the hotel.

Rooms were clean but the soundproofing in the hotel is terrible with a huge amount of noise coming through our ceiling from the room shove meaning we got no sleep. I spoke to reception the next morning and they said that they would sisal to the guests upstairs but the noise continued the next day and so we left and booked another hotel losing three nights payment. I would not stay here or recommend this hotel for that reason. Otherwise the hotel was ok with friendly staff

The hotel is situated in a tranquil location, through a covered archway and away from the bustling streets of Portici. Here you have the most amazing view of the gulf of Naples. The hotel is stylish and modern with beautiful furnishings in the rooms and public areas. The staff are all friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are quiet and well appointed with a good rain shower and comfortable bed. There is plenty of storage and wardrobe space as well. Wi Fi in the hotel is complimentary and generally good. The restaurant is full a la carte and there is also a sushi tasting menu. The bar offers a good selection of snacks and small plates. All the choices are good sized portions. Breakfast is served 07:00-10:30, offering a buffet style selection including hot and cold food. The only negative is that there is nothing close by; no restaurants or bars within walking distance of the hotel, so you are very limited on choice. Having said that we ate in the hotel and the food was top quality, well presented and good value. A nice touch was the shuttle they offer to and from Herculaneum. We also used this for our airport transfer. Regarding other sightseeing, they offer excursions through a local company that collect and return you directly to the hotel. There is also a train station ten minutes walk away, with trains running every 30 minutes to Napoli Centrale and beyond. We loved our stay here and would definitely recommend.
