Noisy dogs ruined the holiday

We were met by the family and shown to the property which looked very nice initially. On further inspection we found quite a lot of issues, cleanliness of the kitchen and items missing or broken. The worktops had not been cleaned properly and one morning they were crawling with ants. The owners replaced the missing items and brought ant powder with them so fine we thought. Unfortunately we had to contact them again as there were ants all over the clothes and bed. From the start we had problems with dogs especially a little yapping thing next door. Repeated messages sent to the owners regarding this, they promised to speak to the neighbours. This carried on throughout the holiday and we rarely got a good nights sleep. We picked the property for its peace and quiet but it was anything but. I have to point out that the family were absolutely lovely and I don't like to criticise them.

SURPRISES !!

Ne pas oublier d'emporter des bouchons d'oreille pour dormir car on entend très bien le bruit de la rue passant au pied du logement. Exiger le stationnement de votre véhicule dans la cour fermée par une porte, car le nôtre, stationné devant, dans la rue, a été volé la nuit précédent notre départ, quelle affreuse surprise !!
