The AC did not work as it said it did. It blew hot air. I would not recommend this place seeing as it advertises falsely. It was 36°C in Naples and the room felt like 40°C. The bathroom shower did not hold the water either it would fall out of the base and go onto the floor which risked a leak in the room.

A Casa del Principe was great! We had arranged to drop off our bags early, and they were even able to get our room ready in time. The room was quiet, cool, and comfortable. The breakfast deal they have with the cafes nearby is so creative and delicious. We were so happy with everything there!

We had an awful stay. It was over 34°C, and the hotel advertises air conditioning, but the unit in our room didn’t actually work, it simply just blew air even leaving it on MAX. As a result, we barely slept all night. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and didn’t feel very clean. There was also a sensor device on the ceiling that flashed every few minutes, which was very disruptive when trying to sleep. The room was so hot and humid that both my boyfriend and I felt nauseous, and we even considered finding another hotel in the middle of the night because we were so uncomfortable. Furthermore the mattress had no cover on it other than the sheet you were sleeping on so you were basically sleeping on a yellow used mattress . If you’re planning to stay here during the summer, or any season at that, I would not recommend.

Fabulous Place, Great Location

This is a wonderful place in a great location. The room we had is beautiful (I love the orange!) and it was great to have a tiny balcony to watch as life in Napoli continued around us. Check-in and out was managed very well and we appreciated being able to leave our bags. Everything you need is provided and every detail taken care of. We’d love to come back for longer. Thank you for a really enjoyable stay.

This is a lovely property close to a busy, walkable area. The host was waiting for our arrival and provided valuable info about our stay. The room was clean and spacious. There is a lift that can be used for your baggage. The entry system was easy to use. It’s close to some great dining options.

Very central property. Great room for the three of us. Our child loved the upstairs part all to himself. There was even a chocolate Easter egg in our room for him which we very thoughtful and greatly appreciated. Right in the heart of the old town - all the main attractions are within walking distance. Communication with Hugo was superb - he made our arrival, stay and departure very easy. Would recommend this place as an option for a few night’s stay and would return when in Napoli.

Only downside was trying to transport suitcases over rough cobblestones because taxis could not get close. This probably wouldn't be a deterrent for most people, but was hard for small elderly women.
