Regrettably the pool and the jacuzzi were closed down with no advance notice. Also, they completely did not provide cleanup service on a day that we specifically asked for it. They also told us they would send us a hair dryer and they never did. Pictures of course.

I had seen several negative reviews mentioning a lack of cleanliness, but we didn't find this to be the case. Both our room and the lobby area were clean. The decor and landscaping in the lobby and adjacent courtyard were very nice. There was also a complimentary wine tasting. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend highly!

The rooms are clean and updated. Bathrooms are worn a bit but nothing remarkable. The negative reviews I saw were way off base. Staff was helpful and engaging and we even received a free upgrade to our room for no reason.

Fresh fruit abounds in the trees. I ate these kumquats right off the tree! We picked limes, lemons and there are also pomegranate trees for picking as well as guava.

This is not DoubleTree quality.

Don't fool yourself... this is not up to "DoubleTree" standards. This was like a Super 8 quality hotel. It was old and run down... If your expecting quality you should choose somewhere else.

The staff is wonderful. The housekeepers was wonderful. The only problem that I had was, there was no AC. The air conditioner was not working, and the restroom vent for ventilation was not working.

I was surprised at the lack of grooming for the outside it was not appealing at all. The building needs some additional renovations and I see they are working on that...I reserved a handicap room...it was not modified for a handicapped person...the toilet was not ADA compliant. The carpets need replacing they are pretty worn. BUT, all that said...we still had a good time! Service was excellent, front desk was fantabulous and as usual the cookies were a hit! I look for those anytime I'm staying at any of your facilities. I chose your hotels over many...this will not be the last time I visit...Thank you!
