Stayed for two night in a bigger room. Staff amazing. I opted out for breakfast so can’t comment there. Only a 10 minutes walk from the train. Shops all over. Food and pubs all over the place, even Sunday night. Tiny problem, the showers tight in my washroom but didn’t say anything to the staff. Staff I met talked English which was great. Will come back very soon with my family to this hotel. Well done keep the good work up.

We had a great view of the cathedral that is across the street from our room. There's a beautiful butanical garden next to the cathedral to check out. The local food shops and pubs are pretty good. The train station is a short 10min walk if you want to check out other local communities, wineries or even the beach.

Perfectly adequate hotel

Perfectly adequate small hotel for a short stay. Friendly and attentive staff. Clean room. Close to train station (5 minute walk) and city centre. Bars and eating places close by. I can’t comment on the breakfast as I didn’t partake.

As many others say, it is basic- the bare minimum. We went during a heatwave and with no AC and not even a fan, we hardly slept for how hot we were, even with the window open. A shower curtain would be nice so as not to spend your shower time trying not to drench the toilet paper near by. Or, get rid of the showerhead and only offer a bath. No cable access, just local channels. It is well located and we walked to the gardens and the art museum in a quick 5 to 8 kins. If they offered an oscillating fan in all rooms, I would probably stay again, bur never in the summer! Too hot to sleep. NO PARKING. I think unless you already KNOW to contact the hotel for the mysterious 10 euro parking, your going to pay about 40 euro for overnight street parking.

Location is next to the station as well as to tram 1 and many of the bus stations. It was clean and they change the towels and cleaning the bathroom every day. We had to change the room as the chauffage wasn't good enough. The receptionist dissappear sometimes and you have to wait till they appear.
