Lovely modern hotel, amazing staff and central location in Nakatsugawa and walking distance to the station. Perfect stay to explore Nakasendo trail. My husband and I stayed here on a two night visit to the Nakasendo Trail and Atera Valley, and had a great experience. The hotel had a very welcoming staff, clean and comfortable rooms, a lovely breakfast, and also a great shared bath. It’s was convenient to walk with our luggage from the station, and close to various places to eat. Highly recommended!

The breakfast is worth it. The room we had booked was a bit small and the windows of neighboring building look right into the room, so there wasn't much privacy unless the dark curtains were drawn. Otherwise, great place to stay on a cozy street.

Enjoyable public bath, modern property, satisfactory breakfast, around an 8 minute walk from train station. What’s unusual is that you have to take off your shoes to enter the hotel from the lobby onward. This could be troublesome if you wish to change shoes during your stay (when it comes to packing your shoes in your luggage). Small perks such as free chazuke broth (rice in broth with toppings) in the evening - a pleasant evening snack.
