Wonderful location, functional spacious rooms that felt like home while we were there. Property is showing its age, but it’s still as comfortable as you can get away from home. They were wideny the beach while we were there, which makes us look forward to our next visit.

We were very satisfied with our stay at the Spur. The private walkway for the Superior Cottage was priceless and we thoroughly enjoyed the convenience. Great location, clean house, lovely beach. We'll be back!

stayed there for a short honeymoon, and worked out perfectly, very close to the beach with easy access. beached were beautiful, the cabin was ok, dated a bit but not run down and everything was in order and worked. would go back if I get the chance.

Had a great stay at Sandspur. Property is centrally located close to shopping and restaurants. Despite being an older property everything was well maintained. The staff member, Cindy, was so welcoming and pleasant. Definitely planning another visit.

It was fantastic having a full sized kitchen. All the kitchenware you would need is supplied, right down to pitchers. The beach isnt even 100 yards from the front of tge property. The pool was excellent. For the fisherman, you are maybe 500 yards from the pier.

Super convenient location and easy access to the beach. So nice they had extra locks on the screens so you can leave the door open even with your dog in the room and they can’t push the door open.

The wrap around porch with direct beach access was phenomenal. We took our dog. And used a baby gate on the stairs, and she was able to be out there whenever we were. Cabin 7 was very comfortable and was close to many restaurants that were excellant.

The Sand Spur was in the perfect location. The beach is very easy to access, and the pool was a nice addition. It was fairly quiet, and the staff were friendly. There is some age of the building showing through, but the overall stay was perfect for exploring the Outer Banks.
