We loved this old school motel. The only negative at all is that the shower was tiny. That’s it, otherwise, we loved everything about the place. Would absolutely stay here again.

You could not seen the because of the shape of the one-story motel, but the beach is maybe 300 feet from the backside of the motel. The swimming pool was warm, and pleasant to float in. The parking is first come, first serve, and I felt save at the motel. I would recommend Dolphin Oceanfront Inn to anyone looking for a quiet beach setting.

We had a wonderful time during our stay here! They were extremely accommodating and it was awesome to be able to walk right out to the beach from our hotel. Everything had been recently updated and was well-maintained. They do allow pets and there was a small fee ($10 per night) that we had to pay when we checked in.

The staff was very friendly and check in was seamless. The room was clean and we had no issues when asking for extra towels/blankets/etc. Check out was quick and easy by just dropping the keys in the drop box out front. Will definitely consider this place again for a stay in Nags Head.

The staff work very hard daily to accommodate your needs and wants..great people especially Snoop. Also the room and pool were perfect. All backs up onto the magnificent beach and front side is the in the middle of great food,entertainment and shops. Very convenient!

The manager and desk personnel were accommodating and friendly. Great location to the beach and having a pool was a plus. The whole area needs a deep clean and cosmetic repairs. I did not like the small shower and room but the retro fridge and microwave were very cool. I had to get clean sheets as ours were dirty. We stayed in a two bedroom court view room. I would not book again.

I can’t say enough positive things about this motel! The property is in the perfect location right on the beach and close to everything. The property has also been renovated, the rooms are nice, clean, and I loved all the outdoor seating and grills guests can use. I also loved that the property is so dog friendly and everyone who worked there is extremely helpful and friendly! This is definitely our new go-to spot for relaxation! I highly recommend!!!!

All staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and the ac unit kept the room cold. Right on the beach too so you dont have to drive anywhere. Pets are also allowed! Be respectful and clean up after them to keep the grounds clean. Definitely recommend

Close to beach, central location to all of the OBX. 7 eleven just a 5 min walk away. Steps away from beach. Fridge and microwave in room. Room on the smaller side but still comfortable for 2 adults and 1 teen. We stayed in 2 bed courtyard view room. Free parking, but spaces can fill up in the high season. We always found a spot, but at times it was the only spot available and could get pretty tight. Staff seemed friendly and available if needed. No security deposit charged to card. Best of all, we arrived late around 10pm, but after calling the property, they made arrangements with us so that we could still get into our room and finish checking process the next morning. 5 star stay and I would definitely stay here again!
