I donโ€™t know if itโ€™s correct to blame the front desk staff, maybe itโ€™s just hotel policy, but she made my friend leave and wouldnโ€™t let him leave his bags for an hour while we got something to eat. Just seemed kind of rude to me. The room was very small for me since I am 6โ€™6โ€ (2m) tall but I think itโ€™s probably typical of a cheap Japanese hotel room.
