The place was cosy and the host was so very helpful with transport to grocery shopping and station, & lift passes. The small house had all the facilities you need and was toasty.

"Had a wonderful stay at Komakusa Cottage!It has such a cozy vibe and the location is perfect for sightseeing—plus, ski slopes are just around the corner. Yutaka-san made us feel right at home as soon as we checked in. Rooms were clean, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. I highly recommend it! We will definitely be back soon. Lovely trip to Hakuba with the family staying at the footstep of the Iwatake slopes. The snow was on and my family and I had a great time. The cottage is lovely, something you would imagine staying at in the snow or by a lake. Has everything you need in it, from the kitchen to the bathroom. Heating was amazing, and the place was so cozy. Only downfall was the standup piano and my daughter thinking she was John Legend so having to listen to that all night did my head in. But in all seriousness, the host was so accommodating and lovely. Came in and gave us a tour of the place to ensure we knew where everything was and how to operate everything. Futons you can double up if you can't handle sleeping on the floor, but my back is the best its ever been for a long time! Our host even gave us a discount card to use at the local ski hire shop right in front of the chair lifts. We used a hire car rather than public transport which suited us well, parking our the front and local supermarket about a 10min drive from the cabin with the laundromat right next door. We cooked in every night. Thank you for the great memories!

Amazing Cottage

The accommodation was amazing. The cottage itself was large and spacious but still warm and cozy. All the windows had amazing views of the snow. It was a few minutes walk from Iwatake gondola and ski rentals. The runs down from iwatake were some of my favourites. The host Yutaka was great and met us at the station and dropped us off. We didnt have a car so this really helped us. We absolutely loved the place. If you are not driving you can get the hakuba valley shuttle buses to most places but they stop running when the ski lifts close. Restaurants are almost impossible to get into without reservations. So book early and get supplies from the supermarket when you get the chance.

Stay was amazing ! Mr Fukushima was so kind - he helped us with discounted lift tickets, picked us up from the train station and took us grocery shopping. Location was right at the Iwatake gondola. Please note the unit is in traditional Japanese style - sleeping on the floor with Japanese pillows (very different to western pillows). Highly recommend !

Perfect family cottage!!

Such a great cottage that had everything we needed. Super clean, warm, walking distance to the ticket booths for Iwatake and Hakuba Brew Pub! So much room and comfort. Bathroom was great, the kitchen super clean and had everything we needed. Next time we'll load up the little fridge and not have to rely on going out for dinner so much. The cabins are so nice inside. All light wood paneled and not your typical Japanese insulation; they stayed warm the whole day and night! We will be coming back as soon as we can! Owner will also give you a killer deal on lift tickets!!! Just ask before you get there!!!

GWにヴィラこまくさに一泊しました。 鍵を借りる場所のこまくさ荘の雰囲気に不安を覚えましたが、コテージは清潔でしっかりと手入れされていて安心して宿泊できました。 広々しているので大人数でも大丈夫そうです。布団は10組ありました。 スタッフの方も親切です。 一階はカーテンが窓の全てを覆っていないので（外から見えてしまいそうな窓の下半分しかカーテンがない）、やや不安がありました。 岩岳のゴンドラの目の前でそこそこ人通りもある場所なので改善されると良いなと思います。

部屋は快適でスキーにはよいです

大人3人子供2人でスキー目的で2泊しました。コテージは受付と1キロ弱離れています。オシャレな外観、近隣案内パンフ、家電や食器もあり何も困らず、特にこたつは外国人が一緒だったので喜ばれました。電気コンロなので安心で簡易的です。思っていたより新しく古さは感じませんでした。 2階ロフトは広すぎるくらい。夜は暖房がしっかり効いて全く寒くないです。ドライアーがあり嬉しかったです。 八方尾根スキー場まで車10分少し、岩岳スキー場リフト券売り場が見えるくらいでアクセス抜群。歩いていける距離に岩岳温泉があります。割引券を買い格安で入り大満足。車で数分でも半露天の温泉も行きました。 買い物は白馬駅近くの地元スーパーに行きました。宿近くには大きな店は無いと思うので買ってから行くといいです。オーナー様も温かく親切で気持ちよく過ごせました。ありがとうございます。
