Staff is amazing, really keen to help and efficient. Room is ok, even a bit more spacious, probably a better layout than at a 4 star hotel we stayed in Tokyo. The bathroom is tiny but has all the amenities we needed. The only things we struggled with were: 1) the power outlets: limited type options and very very slow at charging our devices - so the staff helped with a more powerful charger we could use for the stay and we also bought a different adaptor to fit the outlets; 2) the smoking smell in the lifts every now and then, I found this unacceptable, but I'm sure guests are to blame for this, not the staff. It might be because they have also smoking rooms in the hotel. The other unpleasant surprise was that the laundry was double the price than the one in Tokyo at a better rated hotel and they don't have cheaper options for a smaller load. Only starts at 11kg! So all in all I recommend this hotel if you're looking for a short stay, with a good location and a really affordable price.

Good location in Nagano. The ground floor has a strong smell, and the you can tell they once allowed smoking in the hotel. Otherwise it is a fine hotel for a stay in Nagano. PS no personal climate control in your room, just on/off for whatever the building is pumping. The beds are SUPER soft, my partner loved it but too soft for me.
