This hotel is amazing. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food at the restaurant was top notch. Their breakfast buffet was above and beyond. Right across the street from the hotel is a hiking trail around the lake. There are at least 3 to 4 volcanoes that you can see. There is an ice cream store beside the hotel that makes all their own ice cream. It was delicious.

The front desk staff were welcoming at our arrival and gave a good overview of amenities, which included Happy Hour, and pool table and darts in the common area, as well as robes for the hot tub and sauna. The rooms have heated floors in the bathroom and heated towel racks. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and provided quick service to any requests.

Nice hotel near Husavik. We enjoyed the large room and the breakfast. We're staying only for one night and didn't manage to try the rest of the facilities. My only negative is that the maintenance of the rooms could be better. It feels old and has some damage. Other than that, it was a great stay.
