The place was very clean. The two kitchens were well stocked with cereals, plates, bowls, spoons and forks etc. As such there were no staff at he location. Just key in the door to check-in and leave the key in the door when check-out.

You need to drive 10km very difficult roads to get there. It said that it has a free breakfast buffee. But the fact is that they only have a common kitchen for all the people living there. They only provide three jars of cereal and some coffee. No milk and eggs, ...

Stayed in one of the modern cabins facing towards the river. Geese were running around with their little ones, it was quiet and beautiful. We were looking for the remote experience and that's what we got. Be ready to drive on gravel road away from the main junction. Staff was helpful in pointing us to the actual lodging on the map. Two fully stocked shared kitchen was useful in our trip and we enjoyed our stay! Our actual door was broken and a shower curtain should be installed.

The address listed on the booking website is incorrect. The guesthouse is actually located on Road 864, which is a rough, bumpy gravel road. In addition, the correct location is not accurately shown on Google Maps. As a result, we had a very difficult time finding the property and spent a long time driving off Route 1 onto Road 864 before finally locating it. The property should update its address and map location to help future guests avoid the same inconvenience.

Beautiful property and accomodations. We had room 24. New, large room, clean and all the amenities we needed. There was a kitchen and eating area where we could warm up some dinnner. We stayed here on our way back from visiting the east side of Dettifoss falls which worked out great. We would highly recommend.

Good stay!

Good stay for someone wanting to be near Dettifoss. Room was good and clean, but was very small. Also our Wifi didn't work and heat didn't seem to work. But a great stay close to the waterfall which is what we were looking for. Would recommend and would stay again when in the area

Nice place

This was the only place to stay around the area so we booked it. The place was nice enough. It's a shared bathroom among 5 rooms with a full kitchen. The place is a little older, but the rooms were clean.
