Check in & parking awesome! The view was OBSTRUCTED by condos Zooming in on web photo barely depicts that. A written disclosure should be added to the condo description. The furniture in the living room was the most uncomfortable I’ve ever sat on! It was filthy and in desperate need of steam cleaning or replacing!The cushions on the couch are sunken in possibly due to the sleeper sofa mattress underneath needing more support. We used the resort pool towels as covers!COCKROACHES- rental co. sprayed but the roaches stayed the entire 2 weeks!The kitchen was lacking some basics. Storage containers with lids and utensils would be a great start. The small cookie sheet was rusted. The rental company did immediately provide new sheet pans along with a spatula. We had a broom, however there was no dust pan. More hooks/towel rods needed in the bathrooms. Small table(s) on the balcony would be nice!Amazing closet space (We did fix one door in the 2bed bedroom upon arrival as it would not open or close.)Master bedroom closet doubled as a bedroom for our 1yr old granddaughter and the IKEA high chair was great! (It was completely covered in dried food! I removed the straps and bleached it all before use!)Beds were very comfy. They could benefit from a mattress pad cover as the fitted sheet over the bed bug mattress cover is awkwardly sticky. Nice decor overall.As far as the Resort, the day to day closure of their pools, hot tubs, kiddie pools was ridiculous

Overall, the facility was nice. It accommodated all of our guests comfortably. The pools were nice, as well as the front desk staff. However, our view was obstructed by another building. We could see the beach to either side of the building, which was fine with us. Our main problem was the roaches. We encountered 3 live roaches in the kitchen and second bathroom (which are directly across from one another). Upon further search of the room, a roach pest control trap was found under the kitchen sink filled with a combination of dead and alive roaches. (Most likely 6-8 in total in the trap). At this point in our trip, we did not feel it was fair to leave the facility and go elsewhere if the roaches had gotten into our belongings. For the 3 remaining days of our stay, we were constantly on edge and searching for other roaches. This caused unnecessary stress during and after our trip. We did reach out to the rental management company at the end of our stay in which they proceeded to tell us they were unaware of the problem, despite having already received another review from October 2025 regarding roaches AND having the trap placed under the sink. The rental management company stated this was not an active infestation, despite our own personal research which states 1-2 live roaches classifies an active infestation. We just wanted to inform future customers. Despite the roaches, we did enjoy our stay.

The hotel was filthy upon arrival. I dont think the cleaning crew came in. Floors, showers, counters all dirty. Hair everywhere. We actually had to clean before unpacking. Furniture was nasty. Both hottubs were down. 1 restaurant only open during lunch. Pool bar was not open half the time of our stay.

The condo was lovely, I particularly loved the layout of the space. I was a little disappointed with the straight on view of the ocean. There was a building in front of our condo. However, we had wonderful side views. I loved the parking access. Overall it was clean, however, we found lots of dust and, items behind the couch and under the TV stand. The doors to the washer and dryer need a good vacuuming. With that being said, my family enjoyed our stay and would rent this condo again. The pool area is amazing and access to the beach is very convenient. I wish the individuals who set up the umbrellas and chairs would leave space for people who bring their own chairs and umbrellas.

Our VRBO itself was redone and decorated cute. The overall stay though...not impressed. They advertise it can sleep 10 but the unit had 7 forks. We were given one roll of TP for each bathroom for our 5 day stay and 0 paper towels. Our unit had very random misc things but no full set of dishes, pots/pans/silverware etc. We bought a ton of groceries to save on eating out..had pizza one night to discover no pizza cutter. 2 packs of laundry detergent were left for us to wash our towels. When you have 8 people staying for 5 days, that doesnt get you far. If the unit can sleep 10 people, the kitchen should be set up for 10 people to eat. Take very small portion of the money we paid for our stay and do some updates within the cabinets. We also had no wash rags for dishes, there were a couple microfiber rags under the sink. No hand towels either. A deep cleaning could definitely be done. The trim work and washer/dyer closet doors were filthy. I had wrappers between my bed and night stand and crumbs under the couch. No garbage bags provided. I understand you may not be able to leave a box of bags, tons of laundry soap, tp etc..but maybe leave a certain amount accordingly to the timeframe the group is staying? We came to SC and had to buy so much random stuff.. trash bags, tp, paper towels, dish soap, just to name a few.

There was a lot to do in the resort, very clean and room for the entire family! There was a little confusion on the check in process as the condo was rented by a private owner and not through the resort but everything was sorted out!

Had a decent view of the ocean from the balcony. Check in was super easy and everything was laid out in the text and emails. Communication was good with whoever I was booking with and was able to book an extra day due to have the room open a day sooner.

The place needs a serious deep cleaning. Food wrappers and tons of dirt/dust under the beds. Couch and chairs are covered in stains and everything feels damp. Management group was responsive and polite and attempted to make it right.

Great vacation stay!

Price, location and amenities were great! Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend for families. The pools, restaurant, Starbucks and gift shop were very convenient. The condo was nice and comfortable with a balcony that has a great view of the ocean and the pool.

My family of 8 just returned from our stay at Grande Cayman resort. The resort was nice overall. The kids really enjoyed the pools and activities at the resort. There were a couple things that would have made the stay better. The major one being that when we booked our room; the description said it was oceanfront. It failed to mention that there was another tall building in front of our balcony on the 9th floor. While we could see parts of the beach and ocean if we looked left or right; it wasn’t the oceanfront experience that we expected and have had in the past at other locations. The listing description for this property would be better off listed as ocean view instead of ocean front. Taking the trash out wasn’t the most productive either. There were only a couple trash cans out near the parking garage that made it difficult to throw stuff away if they were remotely full. My opinion is that a trash shoot to a dumpster or access to a dumpster would be nice but not a huge deal. Overall our stay was nice. I would book here again as long as I knew ahead of time that the room was truly oceanfront.

The condo itself is clean and well kept. We enjoyed the morning waves and the spacious rooms. My only issue was with the resort itself. The pools were dirty and one of the spas was broken and missing water. The area itself was loud and you could hear people playing loud music and screaming all hours of the night.

Not ocean front/direct ocean view

Whoever they hired as a photographer did amazing work. The upholstered chairs were a bit dirty. We are a tall group and the top of the fridge was super dusty. The toilet paper holder in the master bathroom was broken. The part that made the stay less enjoyable was the actual “ocean” view. If you are sitting on the patio you get to enjoy a nice view of the dirty roof on the building directly in front of the unit. We called to try and resolve the issue with the management company and she told us it wasn’t written as an ocean front in the listing. It literally says ocean front in the main description!! In the event they changed that we took a screen shot. Also have accurate photos of what the actual view is like straight on and not from a photographer view. Very disappointed that we spent sooo much money to have a great morning view. I would have rather paid half and opted one of the VRBO units we were looking at without the view. Buyer beware, especially if looking for that view of the ocean during your stay!
